Guilford Day School is located in the northwest part of Greensboro, near the airport. We are easily accessible from NC 220 or Bryan Blvd/NC 68/1-40. You can find us at 3310 Horse Pen Creek Road between Battleground Avenue and New Garden Road. Click here for Google Maps.
From the West (Winston-Salem area):
Traveling I-40 East
Take exit 212
Take exit 24 (to Bryan Blvd)
Take exit 3
Follow Bryan Boulevard East (towards Downtown)
In about 3-4 miles, take the New Garden Road exit
Turn left at the top of the ramp
Turn left at the next stoplight onto Horse Pen Creek Road
In 3 miles, we're on the right, just after the Spears YMCA
From the East (Burlington area):
Traveling I-40 West
Keep right to take exit 131 towards Greensboro/US-70
Take exit 44 (the first exit) to US-70
Follow until the road forces you to exit
The ramp winds around; you will stay right and merge onto US-70 W
Continue 4-5 miles, (US-70 will also be named Burlington Rd and then Wendover Ave)
You will cross Church St and Hill St
Take the exit for Battleground Ave/220
Follow Battleground 5-6 miles to turn left onto Horse Pen Creek Rd (Waffle House and BP on left)
We are 0.2 mi on the left
From the South (Charlotte area):
Traveling I-85 North
You will see Grandover Resort on the left
Take the Business 85 exit (stay right at the fork) towards downtown Greensboro/I-40
Take the Holden Road exit #34,
Turn right at the top of the ramp
Go about 7 miles through town (crossing Friendly Ave, Cornwallis Dr, Hobbs Rd)
Turn left onto Bryan Blvd West
Take the New Garden/Guilford College exit
Go straight at the top of the ramp onto Horse Pen Creek Road
Drive 3 miles and we're on the right, just after the Spears YMCA
From the South (Asheboro area):
Take 220 N into Greensboro
Turn left onto Coliseum Blvd (big intersection)
You will pass the Greensboro Coliseum on your left
At the next light, turn right onto Lee St.
Drive about 0.5 miles and turn left onto Aycock St (Wendy’s on corner)
You will pass UNCG on the right, and pass exits for Friendly and Market St.
Turn left onto Benjamin Parkway
Drive 1.5 miles, stay left at the fork to go onto Bryan Blvd.
Drive about 2 more miles
Take the New Garden/Guilford College exit
Go straight at the top of the ramp onto Horse Pen Creek Road
Drive 3 miles and we're on the right, just after the Spears YMCA
From the North (Madison or Martinsville, VA areas)
Traveling 220 South towards Greensboro
You will pass Bur-Mil Park on the left
The next big stoplight is Horse Pen Creek Rd (Rite-Aid Drug on right)
Turn Right onto Horse Pen Creek Rd
We are 0.2 mi on the left
From the North (Reidsville or Danville, VA areas)
Take 29 South towards Greensboro
Take the Cone Blvd East exit
Turn Right at the top of the ramp
Continue about 4 miles, crossing over Lawndale
Turn Right onto Battleground Ave (McDonalds on right)
Follow Battleground 3.5 miles to turn left onto Horse Pen Creek Rd (Waffle House and BP on left)
